I bowled in the Memphis Italian Sportsman league tonight and shot a blistering 289 the first game. I had the front 10 and rang a 10 pin on the 11th ball, but picked it up. I had a pretty consistent shot through the 2nd game, but then the lanes started to dry up on me. I switched to my newly resurfaced and polished Storm Fired Up and hung 4 10 pins in a row between the 2nd and 3rd game. I then switched to my original ball, which was the Storm Flash Force, and struck from the 4th to the 9th. As I was getting ready for my 10th frame, I went stupid and let a ball hit my finger out of the ball return and crushed it. I couldn't feel my index finger for around 30 minutes or so, so I couldn't get a good roll on the ball. I still ended up with a descent night tonight, shooting 226 and 221 the 2nd and 3rd games for a 736 series. I've raised my average up to 220, and hopefully I can carry it through the season.
