WebcamMax

Ok, so I've been playing around with a program called WebcamMax to run my Ustream.tv broadcasts with, and it's pretty amazing.  I've messed around with other programs to display logos, tickers and video cliips on my broadcasts, but never have I used a program like this.  With WebcamMax, you have the ability to overlay images, video clips, animations and text on top of your camera source live!  You can then broadcast your modified image out to Yahoo, Ustream.tv, Mogulus, or whichever video streaming service you'd like, or you could even record the video to be posted on YouTube!  There's even an option that allows you to doodle over the image if you feel like being wacky, or if you want to point out a specific object or person to your viewers.  And the list of features goes on and on!  You can add a custom border around your image, add clocks, smileys, animated characters and funny frames as well.  It even has the option to take out your background to be replaced with another!  Give the illusion you're swimming underwater or high on a mountain in the Alps!  There are also video effects, such as snow, fire, water, shaking and more to give an even more unique look to your broadcast!  So you could sit on top of a mountain while it shows on your head and shoulders, but every once in a while, take a second to shake everything off.  Not only can you add effects and images, you can also give yourself a mask to wear on screen.  Become a bear, a dog, a pig or whatever else your creative mind wants to be.  But for me, the best part of WebcamMax is the ability to use the Picture in Picture function.  Say you want to broadcast a live shot of yourself, but you want to show others what you're looking at on the computer screen.  You can put the computer screen full size and put the video of you in the corner so your viewers can follow both the screen and your movements!  If you have a TV tuner card and like to play games like Rock Band, Guitar Hero or Socom (like I do), hook it up and let others check out your awesome rock moves while they see you hit every note or down every merc!  The possibilities are endless with this program.  If you want to see the program in action, just check out www.ustream.tv and browse around at different shows using on screen graphics.  More than likely, they're using WebcamMax.  If you're interested in checking out WebcamMax, you can download their free trial here, or if you're already sold on it, you can putchase it here.  If you just need it for 6 months to a year, you can even purchase timed licenceses at a discounted price!  Trust me, it's well worth the investment.  Be prepared to get more viewers than ever with the help of WebcamMax!
